UPDATE: Two more teams won WC 2018

After the series last night and early this morning, two more teams won tickets to the 2018 World Cup finals.

The two teams that won tickets to the 2018 World Cup finals were Nigeria and Costa Rica.
Nigeria beat Zambia with the only goal for Arsenal's Alex Iwobi in the knockout stages of Group B of the 2018 African Cup of Nations. With this win, the "blue eagles" increased the gap by 6 points compared to the second placed team, Zambia.

Nigeria have officially won tickets to Russia for the 2018 World Cup. That means that two strong teams in this group are Cameroon and Algeria were eliminated. Nigeria is also the first African team to win tickets to the biggest tournament in the world next summer.

This is the sixth time Nigeria won their World Cup finals and is their third consecutive. The best of the "blue eagles" in the history of the World Cup finals is the round of 1/8 (in the years 1994, 1998 and 2014).

In North, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF), Costa Rica clinched Honduras 1-1 at home with a late goal from Waston at the last minute.

With this result, Costa Rica has 16 points, more than 6 points against fourth-placed team (Panama). Costa Rica has officially won tickets to Russia for the biggest football festival in the world next summer, due to a series of CONCACAF qualifiers.

Costa Rica is also the second team in the CONCACAF area to win tickets to Russia, after Mexico. The remainder of the CONCACAF area will be the US competition (12 points), Panama and Honduras (10 points each). The fourth-placed CONCACAF team will play in the Asia-Pacific play-offs against the ticket to Russia.

So far, 13 teams have won tickets to the 2018 World Cup finals, including the Russian host. The remaining 19 tickets will be valid from now until 14 November.

On December 1, the World Football Federation (FIFA) will draw a table to the World Cup 2018.
